James Hand’s wife Chloe Hand is the Principal of a network of special assistance schools across Tasmania and Victoria.
They have an urgent need for assistance, they have families that are already without food and basic household items.
It’s a challenging and unique time for all of us, and we are reaching out to you all to offer support to the young people they work with.
Their schools are collecting basic household items: toilet paper, sanitary items, soap, hand sanitiser, toothbrushes, toothpaste, nappies, shampoo and conditioner. Most young people and their families don’t have the means to purchase their own at this time.
They are also collecting food items including: canned veg, canned soup, canned fish/meats, biscuits, flour, pasta, rice, sauces, oil, dried foods, cereals, UHT Milk. See address below for drop-off location.
Money donations are also encouraged where possible. Payment details are below, please note: tax invoice will be supplied.
We ask our colleagues and friends to help support, as little or as much as you can offer, even 1 toilet roll makes a difference!
